Richard,

This is a mistake. The advertised system has got to be using the 266 MII. At the last conference call, Halla said that the 266 GX had just taped out.

Who would buy a 266 Mhz MII from PB for $1,200 when they can get a 300 Mhz K6-2 system with a 100 Mhz bus, more memory, and a larger hard drive from CTX for $200 more? This is why I mentioned that using Cyrix processors (in their current incarnations) would be the end of PB. Now, if they can hold out until the MXi, they might stay in business. Good thing they have the deep pockets of NEC to carry them over.

Pravin.
