There is a lengthy article in the magazine section of today's New York Times discussing the causes of the collapse of the "Tiger" economies. This is an excellent, well thought out piece. I highly recommend you invest $4 in the paper or get it in your local libraries.

Personally, I think the fund managers are feeding CNBC and the media bearishness to get better buying opportunities for all the money that is pouring into their funds.

Shame on them for trying to play the market that way.
