If past is prologue the only real impact from the Merced delay will be to present a great investment opportunity in Intel stock. This same type of delay transpired about five or six years ago with Intel's Pentium causing a brief stir. Today that delay is totally forgotten. I don't believe the underlying fundamentals for CYMI have been impacted significantly at all by this, however, I do think the NEC news presents a real, tangible benefit.

There's been a lot of talk around here lately about where CYMI's stock might trade in the next day or the next week and it always gives me a chuckle. Reminds me of the great Karmac The Magnificent from the old Johnny Carson show - great fun but really just a spoof. Certainly trading has its place, with the morning being short term and the afternoon being long term, but by definition trading whether through networked institutional cross-trading ala Goldman Sachs and Jeffries or insta-trading ala the SOES has pre-targeted buyers. No one is making money guessing daily or weekly price moves in individual stocks because it's a fools folly. If anyone out there thinks otherwise I suggest you conduct an examination of all of your past investment activities using this approach and work through whether you've made money net of all costs doing so. If you have made money you should first thank your lucky stars and secondly, if the track record is over any extended period you should contact Forbes, Fortune and the WSJ because you stand virtually alone in the annals of investment history.

Good Luck To Each And All
