There are a lot more shorters out there than investors. They have more ways to make money because there will always be sellers but not always buyers...The conversion just be extended to next and next year the next and so forth till the company has sufficent revenues and so forth to maintain the stock for a conversion. Gabard, could you clarify, particularly the second sentence. Thanks

A Sheep would say "Prefered stock is just better than common because its prefered. Every body knows that." You are assuming there will be more splits and dividends etc... (I tend to agree) but that is not FACT quite yet. Until the company says otherwise, the Prefered is only better becuase it gives me a lower AMSC (IMO). What are the other benefits I am missing? JF
