ROBIN ---CPQ call me to ensure that I would vote for the merger with DEC . I feel the DEC shareholder will not obtain a better offer in today's market ( 25 % to previous price ) . ROBIN I am curious what percentage is required for approval ? Maybe someone on the thread might be able to answer this question .

Looking at today's action shows me EVERYONE including CPQ is being hit by INTC's Merced delay. As stated in a previous post, the talking heads/analysts/investors are NOT thinkers nor extrapolators,
SO......

Wouldn't it be "nice" for MSFT to issue some sort of statement about the "minimal" impact the Merced delay will cause. AND by-the-way mention the 64bit Alpha initiative ??

As well, DEC could issue a 64bit position and strategy statement (this of course will help CPQ).

Robin:

Could you please shed more light on the phone calls shareholders are receiving from DEC board members and the Palmer letter. According to the Proxy Palmer was the one who initiated the whole merger proposal.

Thanks,

KAD
