I agree with you. It more looks like a PR event for both-CYCH and EEI. They didn't even get a single pilot yet with utilities. The last thing utilities need is to handle one customer at a time.

So this is not a real funds transfer merely and digital form of a check which the biller then has to go back to the bank to try to collect the funds for the consumer's account?

Also, How do you think ICVERIFY plays into this if at all?
