If you go to Canada and become a Canadian, your voice is the same as any Canadian and not less just because you are a late comer to the party. Else the only voice heard in USA would be that of the Native American. AS the world around you changes, so do the voices. What may sound like a voice of reason now, may sound absolutely red neck 10 years from now. And if you dont believe that, just remember that not long back Slavery was highly regarded and the more slaves you had the higher your status in life. And it wasnt too long back that if you were the wrong color you had to stand at the back of the bus and could be denied service at restaurants and other establishments. Was it Shakespeare who said " Old order changeth, yielding place to new, lest one good thing may floursih and corrupt the world."
