Is trading of a stock up for FDA review always halted until a decision is reached the day of the review? If so, will this affect only SRGN or Ligand because of the pending offer?

Doc -

<Off Topic>

It was IVAX's show i.e. Frost and Strauss.

NPRO was just the widget maker.

K.S. was never the goal. Breast and Ovarian cancer was the
goal. K.S. was a means to get to the others via K.S. approval
and off label usage.

In Feb the FDA ADVISED BMS what was up.
(I can't prove it)

BMS hurriedly put together some Phase II crap on Taxol
and K.S. which the FDA (CANCER) passed in record time.
(Check it out)

At the time there were about 150 ongoing trials related
to Taxol. The FDA wanted to protect these.

Lastly, we (you and me) paid $65 mil. for the discovery
of Taxol.

BMS got it for $1.00.

The FDA was so BALLLESS they approved PAXENE on *December 26th*
and then said hey - tough shit - you gotta wait 7 years.

Thats why I posted to here.

I was actually lucky enough to get 3 US Senators involved.
But there was never enough momentum.

Not ONE women Congressmen or Senator looked into this,
though I contacted all of them via EMAIL.

I've gotten over the loss along time ago, but I will never
forget the CONCEPT of the FDA keeping the worlds best
cancer drug off the market.

BMS really does not give a hoot about K.S. one way or another.

They did $965 MILLION in Taxol last year.

(Even told the COUNTRY of Japan to take a hike when Japan
wouldn't pay them what they wanted. ((Japan came around))

BTW - I appreciated your appraisal of DEPO.

You called it.

John McCarthy
