So while I empathize with Americans who are sensitive to the US being "trashed", it is
important to distinguish between unbridled dislike of the US and all that it stands for and
those who feel that there are certain actions/policies that the US takes that are flawed.

I dont think you could find one single person in the US that cant find at least one action/policy that they feel is flawed and most people can find MANY

But I am an Arrogant American Bigot
and if you dont like what America stands for and want to trash it then dont come here and take advantage of it.

I could guarantee you that if you went to Iraq and handed out visas willy nilly ...there would be people ...who trash America.. that would fall all over themselves trying to grab those visas.

And TT
I would say the same thing to you
if you dont like the US
if you dont want to respect it
then you should go back to your country

especially since this country has been good to you and allowed you to live up to your potential

there is a difference between dissent (I am a big believer in Freedom of Speech) and disrespecting and trashing a country

what is the line and what delineates?????

good question....
but one thing is for sure...unbridled dislike for the US qualifies

What I do know is that the freedoms, justice system, economic opportunities, health
care and comparative lack of prejudice against foreigners one enjoys in the US is
almost without parallel.

AGREE. But the justice system needs to be revamped to get justice for the people and not the lawyers.

Lisa - there I go trashing America again.
