it is a general comment....
I said why live in a country you abhor...

and I said IF you said that... I would say the same thing to you... meaning no matter how long you have been in this country
hit the road

and I did answer your question

what is the line and what delinates it is a good question

the only definite answer that I have that fits all categories is if you have have an unbridled dislike for the US and think some other place is better than hit the road
and that applies to all people in the US including someone born in this country.
