If you want a broker with low commissions on BB stocks, try National Discount Brokers ndb.com . They also do options and mutual funds.

Nasdaq and BB stocks are unlimited shares, and you can even do multiple trades on the same stock same side on the same day for one commission, which is (I think) $14.95 market and $19.95 limit (BTW - don't use market orders on BB stocks), and they have real-time quotes (free but limited to something like 100 per trade). Etrade has similar rates but with a 5000 share limit and no real-time quotes.

Many other brokers charge much higher commissions for BB stocks, and often also charge a percent of your transaction amount.

I use AmeriTrade: $23 per trade for OTC-BB by phone , $13 for Internet orders on Small-Cap or better, $8 for Internet Market Orders. This is all regardless of dollar amount, number of shares or price of shares per trade.
ameritrade.com

Hope this helped,
Malcolm

Waterhouse is a great online broker if you don't trade more than 5,000 shares at a time. They charge $12 per trade for up to 5,000 shares. Anything over that and you incur an additional penny a share on the whole trade. That's why I have two accounts; one at Waterhouse and one at NDB.

Hope this helps.
