This may be obvious to Indians but it has not been brought up in this thread. Why is it that only Pakistan needs such a huge defense against India. Bangladesh, Nepal, Bhutan, Sri Lanka Myanmar, Afghanistan Iran, UAE etc are not losing any sleep waiting for an Indian incursion. Clearly it is the Pak generals who stand to gain by propagating this fear among the Pak population. Instead of US, or China providing Pak a security arrangement, India can offer them a deal, Get rid of the generals and see if we want to take you over- we don't. And by the way throw in Indian Origin cards to all Pakistan Nationals, come on over whenever and stay as long as you like. You may even find a job and settle down in our bountiful secular country, we will even let you vote after 5 years. . Ramesh.
