To all: FWIW. I spoke to the SEC today in regards to possible manipulation of Vivus stock. The investigator I spoke with is going to begin an investigation starting tomorrow. I was told that such an investigation is confidential until it is completed. If market manipulation is discovered, the SEC will make a public release of the findings. In the mean time they are not allowed to give me any information regarding the investigation. I hope my inquiry will help us find out how a stock can carry a 70% short interest, have a sharp monthly increase in short interest and yet not be shortable during that time period. I am mad as hell and trying to do something about it other than complain. VLAD
