[off topic] I don't think that was it since they are based in AL. The company Price was talking about was in Europe I think. Did it ever trade today? The quote I just looked at showed Friday's close.

>>I know that the SI webmasters are always looking to improve
the site. They've thanked me for my suggestions, and I think they'll
listen to yours as well. It's a good one too!

As a matter of fact this subject has come up a number
of times on the Welcome to SI thread, where Brad and
Jeff Dryer post frequently (though not so frequently
as they used to before the buyout, sadly, but what
can you expect <G>?).

The gist of the answer is that a thread search is
perfectly possible but because of the way messages
are organized it would be horribly inefficient.
Long term they intend to reorganize the database
so thread searches would be reasonable (and it would
help other things too). BUT it's a complete rework
not to be taken lightly, so it shouldn't be expected
anytime soon.

I'm paraphrasing what I've read, so maybe it's
incorrect or incomplete, but that's my understanding
of the situation.
