I worked with an Alpha using VMS and Oracle. I have to say I was not really impressed with its performance. Also, VMS it like a generation out of date. I guess NT would help with that problem though,

Rudedog, thanks for adding further clarification to my posting on the Alpha chip. I might add that DEC and Microsoft have an alliance to support the Alpha. I guess the alliance is still alive.

Have you heard any news from today's Paine Weber (or so I assume) tech conference? I understand Dell was one of the first presenters.
