Farris, I think you've got it. T+3 would actually be the maximum, ie max 3 days to settle. I guess that wouldn't preclude them settling sooner if they could. Ya here it is: SEC's T+3 rule states that all stock trades must be settled within 3 business days. Could be 1 or 2 or 3 days. Boy that sure gives some firms an advantage in cases like this. Guess we'll just wait and see when all the brokers settle.
