Big Bucks, >We are entering a Bear market phase, the Bear will now reign for a while. This should get some stimulating responses about inflation under control, interest rates, yada, yada, yada.<

According to the 10week moving average we began the bear market when it broke from 71% to 65% during the week of 3/31/98 from the week before. However, it did not appear in the NYSE and OTC until 2-3 weeks later. The 10week moving average shows the trend. However, the SEMI's sector tumbled from 66% to 51% in one week from 3/3-10/98 and to 41% by 3/24/98.

It is interesting in comparing this tumble with the BTB data which Gottfried has posted.

Thread,

If I have around $3,100 to spend on either AMAT (30 3/8) or KLAC(30 3/8), why should I buy AMAT over KLAC?

TIA

Doug
