One point to think about: Last autumn we discussed what effect the asia crisis will have on earnings. There was the attitude that tdfx can produce their chips cheaper. Now, a friend of mine is working for Siemens in their semiconductor business, who are producing a lot of their stuff in asia and he is dealing with asian customers. He told me that it is general usage to have treaties valued in US dollar. This would mean that tdfx had no advantage of the currency devaluation in asia. But, this depends mainly in the time frame of the treaties. If they are on a yearly basis then the positive asia effect should be seen later, maybe in the next quarters. This could possibly half tdfx's production costs.
Any opinions about this point would be appreciated.

Ralph

Actually, look at the short position in BOST. Those folks kept referring to the supposed overdone short position when it was at 6, 5, 4, now 1-2?

bad example, I know but the point being is that if they all have to rush to cover than fantastic, but if their right- their looking to cover lower than $18
