Question re: Neurostock... It seems that the site has been down all weekend. Does anyone know what happened? Did they fly the coop? Maintenance?

Hi Optim,

I apologize for my late reply. I have been swamped
at my day job and haven't had a chance to play with
my NS models very much recently. I am just now getting
back to them.

Overall they were, in general, doing fairly well until
the recent slip in the dow. That seemed to catch several
of the nets unaware. To make matters worse I was/am in
the process of revamping them to the newer NS guidelines
published with 1.4 (ie - fewer simple inputs). I have
some promising approaches but so far nothing that will
"show the money". I should have a chance to play with
them this week and I'll let you know something then.

One thing I had incorporated with the "lot's 'o inputs"
approach was to add a SPX-type indicator. I pulled that
out and most models got hammered over the last few weeks.
I am going to work on adding a market-quality indicator
but am still thinking about the best approach (ie- trending
or good Adv/Dec, NH/NL, etc.). I suspect I will use this
as a separate net and then combine the results either in
a composite net or just the trading strategy.

I'm glad to hear NN is coming along well!

I'll add more in the no-too-distant future...

Happy trading!
