Remember one thing, & this is from ATMI's 1997 Annual Report: "In 1997 , approximately 73% of the Company's product revenues were from product lines that were primarily related to wafer starts (volume of wafers processed), while approximately 27% of the Company's product revenues were from product lines that were primarily related to fab starts (new plant construction)."

Soxx Should Have Bottomed Today

Hopefully, ATMI will rebound near term. Stock is oversold,
however I believe stock weakness tied to overhang from
secondary offering. If stock goes to or below $14, will
add to position. Stock right now at 14 7/8 selling for
1998 PE of 16.5, and 1999 PE of 10.3
