Wouldn't you agree that the margins that Intel would receive from Alpha sales would be, relatively, so much smaller than those for Merced that they could never seriously contemplate such a strategy?

So good to see you posting here again.
Are you saying that part of the reason Intel delayed Merced was NOT to improve earnings in the near term, ie. over the next 18 months time frame.
