Sjp - Been wondering about that for some time.

Certainly that info goes to a lot of others before we see it & usually if there is to be a move it has happened before we buy/sell. Is this calculated to bring in a lot of suckers or who are the big beneficiaries?

No doubt the advisories have to keep on good terms with large firms as they often do business together & a downgrade can be disturbing to the company or an upgrade can do them more good than they may deserve. Artificially inflate stock price at least temporarily.

Hope someone can wise me up on this.
