re the biggest hurdle is customer/consumer acceptance of the whole concept - after all who knows if deploying the technology will cut down on billable air time (revenue) for those companies opting for it.

It seems to me that consumers would certainly go for it since it is the wireline model they are most familiar with. And I can certainly see why existing carriers who derive recieving party revenues would fight it. But doesn't it make perfect sense for the likes of Sprint PCS or Primeco? Now, working out the billing arrangements with all parties involved sounds like the hard part to me. Thanks for your input. -JLF
