I would like to make a comment about the VA study of a little over 100 men who tried MUSE and did not respond well.

My sister-in-law is a nurse in a VA hospital and this was her response when I told her about this report over one month ago.

and I quote, "VA patients are amongst the worse group of patients to properly comply with treatment instructions given by their doctors and nurses" also "a very large percentage of VA patients are from lower middle class backgrounds and tend to have a very high incidence of alcoholism and many are heavy chain smokers". (Now I wonder what the reults would be on the same group of people had they tried Viagra after the MUSE--I would bet the farm that their success rate would have been less than 10%).

I also asked her to find out about how well MUSE was doing on the patients in the hospital she works in and so she talked to the head urologist and the nurse that works under him. The response she got was that MUSE was used successfully on about 40% of their patients who tried the product and are continuing to use it. I might also add that the VA had a HUGE contract with Vivus to provide MUSE for ED. Is it possible that by releasing information that is detrimental to MUSE and Vivus that the VA was hoping to completely destroy the company thus not having to fullfill their contract obligations? Certainly the VA of all medical facilities would rather have a standard protocol of offering their patients a pill rather than MUSE--it eliminates the very poor patient compliance and also makes it much easier on the VA doctors and nurses (they don't have to spend their time instructing their poor complying patients how to effectively administer a urethral suppository). Also, the cost to the VA for Viagra will be much lower than MUSE and then the patients can't complain that the VA does not offer to pay for a medication for ED (now the VA can offer the patient Viagra at a lower cost and minimal hassle and the patients can't say that the VA is not providing treatment).

Think about the agendas here when you read such articles.

Vlad, <<

Is it possible that the high open interest in June calls with strike prices of $30.00/share and above has something to do with this??? >>

I think the high open interest at 30.00 a share was puchased back when VVUS was trading in the twenties in December. I own some of that open interest. I figured that VVUS would have FDA approval by now and booking revenue from the new plant.
