Hi Christine, I'mmmmmmmm Bacccccccccccck!! Ah, nothing like the ocean air to blow the cobwebs from the mind:0)

Now, to respond to your post of Jun 2 re drugs, childrearing, etc.

Yes, I agree that quality parenting wards off drug addiction; however, once irresponsible child rearing has had its negative results & society has to deal with a damaged youth, I feel that only strict law enforcement can protect innocent citizens.

One of the answers in my estimation is higher salaries for child-care workers, in order to attract quality people to this most important of jobs. Those years from age 1 thru entering kindergarten are so important. Their little minds are like sponges & easily learn the basics as far as numbers, colors, shapes right up to pre-reading. My niece taught herself to read with Learning Cos' Reader Rabbit. She did that from age 3 1/2 to 5. Same for Math. All pre-schoolers in USA should have these programs available to them. It's so entertaining they're not aware it is schoolwork.

I do agree that minimizing the profit incentive would probably be the most effective way to combat drugs.

It's a complicated problem.

The Delaware shore was fun & restful as usual. We lucked out with great weather.

Arrived home couple hrs ago--now to check on our portfolio. Understand it was a good market day--hooray! We were due, weren't we.

take care, Ann
