I am a SW subscriber and frankly, I haven't had the same experience that you have with them. Your suspicions as to their motives may be true, I don't know. I have noticed though that their view appears to be supported by all the reputable news sources I have read, i.e. FP, G&M, etc. Personally, I find them a lot more credible than Roy Carson, whose motives I rarely see questioned around here. He is so obviously biased that I can't believe that any thinking person would consider him a "news" source.

But let's stick to the question I posed. Why would SW print lies and risk their business (which is primarily portfolio data services)? What's in it for them? I bet you're gonna tell me they have a secret short account in Barbados :-).

On a personal note Pat, I have read and respected your views on this forum for a long time and I wondered what ever happened to the skeptical Pat who once asked hard questions (and took flak for it I might say)? Just wondering how it is you changed your view so radically? Cheers.
