BLOOD IN THE STREETS. I am officially resigning my position as resident bear as of this afternoon. PRIA and KLAC got hammered today, and with volume, both at what I am guessing are 18-month lows. AMAT and NVLS both down another 5% (roughly) but hanging tougher than the others. ASM and TER also hanging in there, comparatively speaking.

Anyway, I'm stepping up to the plate on PRIA, KLAC, ASYT and maybe one or two others tomorrow morning. I'm watching Cymer and ASM carefully, as they have got to simply explode at some point in the next couple of years. I'm holding off on two of the good ones ,Novellus and AMAT, as I think they have a little farther to fall. Also thinking about masking companies, since they should recover faster, but I'm looking for maximum LTCG treatment here.

But clearly, the blood is flowing. The chipmakers are going to be screaming for product in 18 months or so. When the BTB hits 2.0, it'll be too late. I may lose a few points on additional dips, but this is close enough to the bottom for my purposes, as a long-term investor. This is one train that's not going to leave the station without me on board.
