>>>OZEMY put in an order at 9:07 at 18 3/8.. .. At that time it didn't go through so I took it at the ask which was 18 3/4 at 9:25... I always trade OZEMY before market opens (3 times so far)

I am confused.
I called my broker to inquire about trading before the open. He said I could place an order, but it would not be filled till 9:30, the open. Unless I was trading form Europe or another country who's market was open. He informed me that only institutions are allowed to trade before the open, not personal trades.

Could you please shed some light on this?

Thanks, Sue
