Craig, The Genesis annct is not good, but has not
driven the price down. The annct came out at
about 10:51A. Five of six of the ED type stocks
are down today, ZONA especially.

11:50am, one hour after Genesis annct, VVUS 7 13/16, trading 1/8 off
of open with over 2M shares traded. Jeeze, I remember when 27 seemed low.

VVUS 11:18AM 7 13/16 -15/16 -10.71% 1,939,100
PFE 11:14AM 104 3/8 -55/256 -0.21% 1,197,100
ZONA 11:18AM 32 3/4 -4 -10.88% 566,700

Craig, Genesis downgrade is based on the AUA abstracts. My reply to Genesis is to do their homework by reading

Message 4702626

Also, it has been speculated that the brokerage houses are the Vivus shorts. So if we assume ( hypothetically of course, GG ) that Genesis is shorting Vivus by selling stock that they own ( something illegal of course, and this is why VLAD is in touch with the SEC ), then this is what the brokerage houses would do.
Also I believe that they are now buying Vivus, for them to upgrade later after they bought it,

TA

Yep, another one jumps on the bandwagon. These studies, reports, downgrades, articles, newswires, earnings revisions, etc. are short term successful in depressing the price of VVUS shares even further. Supporters of Muse concede that an oral delivery has greater popularity than its delivery method. With the recent focus on safety, attention is being diverted by attempting to discredit Muse in its effectiveness. More time and observation is needed before the real picture emerges. One should do their own DD in evaluating these reports. Having nerves of steel and ice water running through your veins will also help if today's price movement has got you uneasy. <ggg>
