3Com looking for a COO, does not bode well for this Q's numbers, and for the near future for 3Com.

Pros appear to be selling now. Its all been a fakeout on COMS. While I'm not shorting again today. I will be looking for short reentry tomorrow near the open closer to $26.

>>Hi Joe...just wanted to let you know that I picked the bottom at 24...<<

I hope your right, but even if you didn't, seems like you're
close enough, and you'll have a very nice reward by
the end of the year.

>>A dear friend oversees PAc Rim for Newbridge. Last we spoke (2 months ago) he was looking to hire someone to run the entire Sales org in Pac Rim reporting to him. Anyhow, my message is they are bullish and lots of watching of 3 COM.<<

Yes, NN's cc mentioned it's alliance with 3Com. NN looks like
it's starting to turn the corner. I have the feeling that this
will be true for the entire network sector.
(thanks to Mang, for posting NN's cc earlier)

<<29 1/8 will look like a steal in 2 to 4 months>>

I doubt it. I feel that 3Com is going to crack through $24 again. Today was based on takeover speculation, and 3Com isn't a good candidate for Telcoms due to exposure to PC business. IMHO it is a given Coms will miss the quarter, and I wouldn't be surprised to see them struggle for a couple of more quarters, this whole tech rally was based on ANALysts bullsh$t....look at HWP.......
