Microsoft is a company that ALWAYS thinks ahead I'm not as familiar with the status of the battle for the appliance OS market but its going to be very very big. Please post anything you know about it on the MSFT thread. Thanks. ============= As to Intel, well they specialize in breeding paranoid know everything types. No wonder they missed the boat with Celeron. You remember how Engels was denying the existence of a significant sub $1K market six months ago, I wouldn't expect Intel to have a clue about the appliance market. Its a company that got so wrapped up in monopoly tactics that it couldn't figure out how to effectively diversify. Perhaps the paranoia runs so deep they were afraid to try anything but what they knew?
