Jeff,

So Intel feels they will be inline with:

a) the new lowered expectation of the last week

or

b) the expectations before that.

If it's (a) it's still a warning/shortfall from previous guidance.

No, that isn't what they said. You must be long, pretty obvious with your interpretation. What they REALLY said is that they weren't going to guide ANALysts based on todays revisions. I am not sure what that means, but I do know they DIDN'T say they disagreed with the revision or that their business was fine, or that current estimates were in line etc.....the days of buying INTC on dips and making money are over. Delay for Merced, no presence in lower end PC sector, lower ASP for high end which WILL continue...no value near term hear at all....
