then continued down? or a straight down to dow 8790
and 1070s for spx? i sold puts and bought calls on
the close, but i think i jumped the gun...

The public won't start to panic until they lose their jobs, IMHO. until then it's "buy the dips" as usual. Or buy more real estate with the low interest rates. On the last few market corrections the Russell dipped just a few percent more before the fund managers with spendable cash rushed in. I'm holding mostly high-yield stocks so I may be seeing the flight to yield rather than rotation.
