Kevin, Westamerica is not just another "timeshare". From the consultants report, "The feasibility study recommends that the WestAmerica destination resort should consist of 500 individual fully furnished luxury homes -- 50 with one bedroom, 250 with two bedrooms, and 200 with three bedrooms. The resort would contain a championship golf course, tennis courts, a clubhouse, exercise facilities, children's play area, game room, pro shop and other amenities. <<

I think that the " 500 individual fully furnished luxury homes " will set WACC apart from the crowd & attract a different group than the present timeshare user.

This site is a good source of information & background on the WACC experience.

Money will be made at lots of levels with WACC (IMO), those buying in now will do well at 50 cents, those getting in at 50 cents will do equally as well further down the road. Let's hope all potential investors study this company & the industry before just laying their money on the line.
