QCOM and PAIR should not be compared at the same level ... CDMA is needed for wireless and could become the standard, HDSL may not be needed as much as thought and it will never be a standard. Being fabless does not supply a common denominator.

I had the same concern and more about TBR, and still like it better than PAIR. For TBR, the sum of its part will be greater than the whole when it is split up.

Gee, Andrew, I thought engineers were more taken by looks than brains ... or maybe that was physicists.
