I actually feel the Y2k will provide a spark after the dust settles for just this reason. The more projects on the backburner the more productivity corporations will require the more system updates occur to increase the productivity.

Cooling of the economy will also spark the feds to lower interest rates to give the companies opportunity to purchase the needed updates. Obviously lower rates will add even more of a spark.

I am very bullish post Y2k.
