Mark, I've been lurking for awhile, trying to learn from your posts. I went back to take a look at KERA to see if there was a signal that it was topping when you decided to buy in. Do you look at Sk-Sd (21,10,10)? On June 2nd, Sk-Sd started to decline in value, despite the close increasing. I like to see Sk-Sd increasing--what do you think?

Regards,
Jan

Mark, further to my last post, I've analyzed some more. If you look at the plot of sk-sd (21,10,10), the value for KERA exceeded 20. I've looked at a number of trending stocks that have taken off, and in each case, sk-sd was less than 20. In fact, often there was a very high peak a few weeks before, with the value of sk-sd at the time of the subsequent buy usually around 5-15. It seems it's more important for sk-sd to be a low value, as opposed to its value increasing from the day before. Food for thought.

TATRADER,

I appreciate your honesty. I learn a lot for you guys. Thanks.

Cutting those losses QUICKLY would have saved me many times, but I ignore the rules, only to suffer the consequences.

Some dumb mistakes I do:
I enter at a too high risk / reward ratio, or chase it..
I "hope" the price up, after it drops to a sell point/stop.
I don't sell after it rises to a sell zone, "hoping again". Pure greed.

Maybe by writing down my weakness I will pay better attention to what the TA is telling me.

i doubt it !>gg<
