I hate to be ferociously ignorant.... Seems to me the scenario you mention is pretty much the standard ... goes on every day in hundreds of stocks. But the unique key here is the need to be able to deliver a warrant with the new stock. Given a finite number of warrants, there is no way to create additional ones in order to be able to deliver them. No amount of bidding up the price will create extra warrants on July 1st (or whenever). Am I missing something? Thanks in advance.
