create an ADPT analyst file, It would be a good idea for all the threads but a lot of work. Some of the news only threads have been helpful, rather than wade through all the chit chat trying to gleam bits of information and references. BTW, hello all, bought ADPT yesterday, I didn't want to come to dinner early, nor miss the main course, looks like this is a good entry point. Regards, Ed

Dr: Just a thought. I agree with Christopher Hodgkin that we keep the information on this thread. There are fairly clear distinctions in the subject areas. We could organize discussion by prefacing/flagging each submission with the main topic of the posting, like "ADPTProducts. Saw some interesting information on 1394 blah blah blah;" or "ADPTCompetition. Mylex is coming out with blah etc.;" and so on. The "ADPT" connected to the topic heading would facilitate searches. Instead of getting every "product" on SI during a search, we would get only what we want. Just a thought. Starowl
