Well, after the Banc One and Visa announcements (where the stock went down on the news), I'm not holding my breath for an announcement to send the stock up. IMO the only announcements that will send the stock up are as follows:

1. The price of a stamp is going to 50 cents.
2. CheckFree is buying back it's shares.
3. Good earnings announcements.

The first two aren't very likely, at least for a year of two (maybe longer), I also don't expect the earnings announcements to be 'Great' for another year or so. So in summary I really don't expect any announcements to have an effect on the stock price. What I do expect is the stock price to hold up well in a sideways or negative market (for various reasons).

Like I said before, I'm in this for the long term(3+ years), where an institutional investor may consider 3 months to be long term.
