Defender? I always though he was pulling a parody. No, that's not the right word. Is there a word for pretending you're a member of your opposition and then acting like a buffoon? Kind if like Ginsburg calling himself a Republican. That's it! Pulling a Ginsburg.

Somebody's got to rave besides James Carville. Apropos, Spielberg has a funny cartoon serial called "Pinky and The Brain" on kiddie networks.
I have seen some with my kids: the last one included Bill and Hillary Clinton and Ted Turner as hippies in the late Sixties portrayed as shmuckos. The one on Al Gore as a goat full of hot air was also funny.
If you get a chance, watch it.
