I would have agreed in the upper 30's. At these levels though the risk is losing out on the upside versus downside loss. When AMAT turned in '97, not one person on this thread realistically expected it to launch from 21 to 108. We are currently lowering the bar again, so any string of + announcements could have the same effect over the next 18 months. I am simply betting that the need for DRAM for Win 98, voice recognition, real-time picture video games, and bandwidth issues resolved(i.e. recent Sprint announcement and more to follow), will drive the demand for faster IC's and additional DRAM. I simply differ from others who say a Pentium II 300 with 64MB of RAM is all we will ever need. IMO, to invest in technology you need vision for the future, and many people simply do not have this.
