(PC still driver for semi-equips)

Brian:

Hey wait a minute! I'm the bandwidth (big-time) boy as well!

However for the semi-equips this is really a DRAM and CPU market right now. These 2 sectors (PC) drive semi-equip demand and will do so for the next 3-4 years (at least).

When PC market suffers semi-equips suffer. It happened in 1996 it is happening in 1998.

The bandwidth IC boys have demand requirements that are starting from a much smaller base and so the effect on the semi-equips is not big.

But in time this will change and bandwidth ICs will be the driver. Just not yet...

Brian I thought you were bullish in the 30's as well. Sure I think the 28 range is decent. That's why (on the blood thread) I've said that it makes sense to average in at this time. But would I put a lump sum in today. Absolutely NOT..

shane.

My mamma said there will be better days than this...
