Hi Alex, We are all asking/guessing the same dumb question. :)) Just my thoughts only: 1. LU will not make any large acquisitions (such as Asnd) without the preferential treatments of Polling interest method. 2. LU and others may not be able/willing to pay a very high premium for Asnd; based on the $45 current value. 3. LU is not able to make an official bid before Oct 1 based on the polling interest method (i.e. stock vs. cash buyout). Please correct me if I am wrong on number 3. Jan
