You people keep judging the Clintons and their minions by normal human standards. In my opinion, Bubba is a sociopath who is incapable of distinguishing wrong from right. "Right" is always that which gratifies him. They will say and do anything to retain power because it gratifies. JLA

Now that Monica has hired some real lawyers, its only a matter of time until she makes a deal with Starr to save herself. If she doesn't make a deal she"ll end up like Susan McDougal and I don't think Monica could handle that scenario. My question is: How will the White House seek to discredit Monica? Until now she has been well treated (ignored). In fact if you can believe the media at all, Cacheris has already had lengthy talks with Starr's office before it even became known he was hired. A deal is probably imminent. Any bets on how she will be trashed? JLA

>>Of course you are right, but I kid you not, I heard McCurry citing the number of days that the IP has been investigating the miscellaneous misdeeds of the Clinton WH......truly astonishing.....

If McCurry weren't such a shameless liar, how could he represent Clinton in that professional capacity?

Southern exposure

Inside the Beltway is considering a second career
--watchmaking.
Never before has this column been inundated with so many
requests for information, namely where to pick up the "Clinton
Growing Nose" watches we wrote about Thursday.
If you weren't reading, or hadn't already guessed, Bill
Clinton's nose grows longer with each passing second.
As a public service to our readers, the phone number for
the Worldwide Watch Co., makers of the Clinton watch, is
800/535-0131. (Perhaps the watchmaker will return the favor
by cutting us in on some of the action.)
Maybe we'll craft our own Clinton watch, concentrating not
on the nose but on another characteristic, as suggested by
reader J.R. Schwarz of De Land, Fla.:
"In reference to the nose-elongating watch mentioned
today, perhaps a more southerly feature of Mr. Clinton's
anatomy would be more apropos. Just a thought."
