>>Why no rumors on COMS takeover??<<

There have been a few minor ones. But we're still at
the beginning of the 'convergence theme' so there still
a lot of time for all sorts of things to happen.

If I were to speculate - total guestimate - I'd say
SIEMENS and COMS have something going.

Also, companies don't have to merge or be bought out
to help their cause. They can form alliances as CSCO
is doing.

Companies like CIEN are forced to merge, because they
are still too weak. Believe it or not, COMS is in
a very strong position because they have a TOTAL
SOLUTION, and very advanced products. I just pray
they don't merge before they've recovered their
true price value. If their financials position gets
real bad, you never know what can happen. (Hard to
believe that COMS could screw up that bad - imo)

When COMS announced its merger with USRX, it (COMS) had just warned. COMS took a big tumble after its warning and I bought right afterwards. It was trying to go back up when they announced the merger and it took another tumble. These events were all within a week or two -- February 1997.
