Does anyone else suspect the weakness in SFE for the past two days is because of the weakness in TLAB due to their purchase of CIEN? As we know, Coherent is being sold to TLAB for TLAB stock. CCSC shareholders get .72 TLAB shares, that were valued at $69.50 when the deal was announced. TLAB is now around $62. I'm sure a big piece of SFE NAV is comprised of their CCSC holdings, but I'll gladly stand corrected.

Anyone care to take a stab at the effect on NAV?

Rick,

You can get the percent Safeguard owns here: safeguard.com (nice of them, huh?). A good source for shares outstanding of a company is quote.yahoo.com and click on the "profile" link.

As for their method of exiting, I don't know their plans, other than rights offerings for exiting private companies, but in the case of CATP, I would exit here and there if my return were 2868% too!!!
