I supposed this person never took an Operating Systems course. Unix had a superior file system to FAT in 1973!

Hi Keith,

I referred to the FAT story as being in the MS-DOS encyclopedia.

It's there if you want to look it up.

I maintain that NT is Microsoft's.

Kudos to NSCP for giving out code.

However, in my opinion, none of these companies (MSFT, Sun, NSCP) will lead the unwashed into the promised land... it's just a corporate war where the winners (whiners?) will get the spoils... control over the internet "tollbooths."

...and so it goes...

FWIW
Andy

>>Moreover, your argument is pretty ironic, given that you have to go all the way back to the original FAT file system to "prove" that Microsoft is innovative.<<

Hi Keith,

How about if you post a list here of the things NSCP has designed from the ground up.

Thanks in advance,
Andy
