Darrell, Anyone know how many shs have been registered in 144's? This will overhang the stock until it is sold. MM's DO know the answer to this question so they can trade accordingly.

The Y2K remediation work will not vanish on January 1, 2000. This work will continue for some period of time past that date. I've seen estimates of two to four years. There is only a limited time before the change in the millennium, so remediation efforts will focus on the absolutely critical changes between now and then. Thereafter, work will continue on the less critical changes.

IMHO: Year 2000 remediation work will continue to 2001, tops, and it will be tiny. Companies run things on a daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly cycle. It is entirely possible that problems will continue to crop up late in 2000 and into early 2001. But companies will throw out stuff & replace it before they will let it screw up for 2 to 4 years.
