Jim, Re: your posted URL Since they said MediaGX is the top seller, and I have no hard figure to say otherwise, I have to say that is strange. I have never read a single positive comment about these Presario in general(MediaGX based in particular) except for some old Pentium model on usenet. I would describe the comment as scary. And the price found on that URL is not attractive. The MediaGX one in particular has a problem with Word 97 when using Header/Footer(it would lock up the machine). It was told to be problem about MMX. So if you have finally decided to buy this lovely baby, make sure you have the latest patch of Word 97. Gary
